I always have an amazing experience at Calumet Bakery which is why every year I come back for my birthday cake needs. Whatever it is the kids dream up, they can make it happen. This year it was a Billie Eilish Cake and it turned out so good. Exactly like the picture my daughter sent me. The birthday girl was so happy and her cousins were so jealous because they wanted a cake like that too. I’m sending some referrals 😉

They did such a great job on the cake! Look how cute it is. And they made the process of ordering super easy. They had lots of ideas to show me of how to decorate. It was a younger guy that helped me order and he was great at customer service. And the cake was super yummy with the fudge icing and raspberry filling.

Calumet bakery did a excellent job with my son birthday cake. I sent a picture of what we wanted.The cake look better than the picture i sent. Five stars to the baker and team. Moist and delicious.
Fat Tuesday was crazy and insane here! But the staff was moving and so efficient. I thought I would be there forever. It had to be 50 people and more coming in. People were parked on the sidewalk. If a place is that busy it tells you that they have great food and in this case great desserts. The Paczki were huge and delicious! The specialty ones like strawberry and creme were amazing. Good desserts here!!!
I ordered a cake for my kid’s birthday over the phone, and they were very helpful in the ordering process. When I picked up the cake, it went very quickly and the cake was beautiful. All of our family and friends were impressed with how pretty the cake was decorated. We ordered an atomic cake with chocolate on top + chocolate covered strawberries. It was absolutely DELICIOUS. From the whipped cream frosting to the decadent chocolate top, to the fresh bananas and strawberries inside the cake…it was perfect and probably the best cake I’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend this bakery if you want fresh, quality ingredients and a delicious treat.
Initially, I was very disappointed with the first cake we received for my son’s third birthday. Honestly, it looked like a five-year-old had put it together. The caramel on top wasn’t spread properly, the strawberries weren’t spaced evenly or facing the same way, and the writing didn’t look good at all. To make things worse, when we cut into the cake on his birthday, we discovered there was no filling inside—just plain cake. However, when we went back and told them about it, Calumet Bakery handled the situation amazingly. They were kind, understanding, and didn’t hesitate to make things right. They gave us an entirely new cake, and this one was absolutely gorgeous—beautifully decorated, perfectly made, and exceeded our expectations in every way. Because of their great customer service and how quickly they resolved the issue, I’m still giving them five stars. Mistakes can happen, but how a business handles them says everything. Thank you, Calumet Bakery, for turning a disappointing experience into a wonderful one—we’ll definitely be back! You can see the difference in the pictures from cake 1 and cake 2.
Two beautiful cakes done for my daughter’s birthday. Exactly what we ordered, we can’t wait for next year to get her cake from here! 😊 Not to mention the single serve baked goods inside are the best around.
